Hello and a warm welcome! We welcome people of all ages and abilities at St Swithun’s.
Whether you're new to the area, exploring faith for the first time, or looking for a church family, we want to make you feel right at home. Our community is all about warmth, connection, and growing together in faith. At Swiz we value belonging, deep biblical teaching, and joyful participation. Everyone is known, valued, and loved here – and that includes you!
Visiting a new church can be exciting (and a little nerve-wracking!), but we've got you covered. Our services are welcoming and focused on worship, learning from the Bible, and building community. You'll be greeted at the door, and if you'd like, someone can show you around or sit with you.
● Duration: Services typically last about 60-75 minutes.
● What Happens: We sing songs (each service has its own preferred style of music!), pray, hear a Bible reading and sermon, and sometimes celebrate the Lord’s Supper. It’s relaxed and meaningful.
● After Service: Stick around for morning tea or supper – a great chance to chat and meet people over coffee and snacks.
● What to Wear: Whatever you're comfortable in! From jeans to suits, it's all good. 9 am is mostly “smart casual”, for example, men in jackets with open-neck shirts, some like a tie. 10.30am and 6pm are more casual - come as you are.
Visitors are always welcome – just come along!
We offer three distinct services each Sunday to suit different styles and schedules:
● 9:00 AM Traditional Service: Traditional but not stuffy— think hymns, a choir, liturgy (Morning Prayer or Holy Communion), and a focus on God’s word. Livestream is available each week. You might want to check it out online first: http://tiny.cc/swizstream
● 10:30 AM Contemporary Family Service: Lively and family-friendly with modern music, interactive elements, and programs for kids. Perfect for families! Perfect for all generations!
● 6:00 PM Contemporary Service: Relaxed evening vibe with contemporary worship and in-depth teaching. Great for young adults or those with busy mornings.
We love families! At the 10:30 AM service, we have age-appropriate kids' programs where children learn about Jesus in fun, engaging ways. There's also a creche room for the little ones. Our church is a safe, nurturing space for all ages.

Wheelchair – Accessible Ramps allow ease of access to our church building and the PACE Centre.
Accessible Toilets are available in the church building and the PACE Centre with clear signage. Baby change table facilities are also included within our toilets.
Visual Aids to help you in following our services. We provide visual projections including music lyrics. Also, for our Sunday 9am service and some other services we provide printed orders of service (including Mandarin translation for some).
The 10.30am Sunday Service has organized programs for children, varying according to age. Even when there isn’t a scheduled program for children, you’re welcome to use our creche room to care and attend to your children as needed.
For our 10.30am Sunday service, we provide printed Mandarin Orders of Service and audio translations in multiple languages, including: Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil, Korean, Hindi, Farsi, and Spanish. 周日上午10:30 主日崇拜提供中文翻译
